Glimpse

I had this blog up and running forever ago, but being so busy
with the holidays and feeling sick and tired with pregnancy I'm
just now opening it up to you! I'm excited to share "glimpse"
with those of you who haven't heard about it. It's a new skin
care line that has Xango has put out that as you can see from the
picture below is working wonders. These are before and after
pictures of a woman with ezcema.

I think what struck me most is learning that many of the ingredients in our cosmetics and personal care items may be dangerous. Did you know that there are more than 10,500 ingredients found in the beauty products we use every day? Only 11% of those ingredients have been
tested for safety. It really made me think especially being pregnant how many of those toxins are getting to my unborn child.

A study by the Environmental Working Group found that:
*33% contain ingredients linked to cancer.
*45% contain ingredients that may be harmful to the reproductive
system or to a baby's development.
*60% have ingredients that can act like estrogen or disrupt hormones.

Also a number of years ago, cosmetologists were complaining about occupational related health concerns such as headaches, memory loss, asthma, and nervous and respiraory problems. As part of a government evaluation, 2,983 chemical were studied, of which 884 were found to be toxic! Here are some of the startling results:

*314 chemicals cause biological mutations
*218 chemicals cause reproductive complications
*778 chemicals cause acute toxicity
*146 chemicals cause cancer tumors
*376 chemicals cause skin and eye irritations

I know it's a lot of information at once, but I couldn't leave
anything out. I know I've given some of you information and
samples to try, but if we haven't talked and you'd be interested
to learn a little more please feel free to email me questions.

Xango

I attended the Xango convention in November and was really
excited when learning about the new skin care line, Glimpse.
For those of you who don't know what Xango is you are
missing out!

First of all the product is AMAZING. I can actually say
that because I've been taking it for years now and know
so many people that have really benefited from it. I
basically started taking it because our whole family decided
to make a business out of it. At that same time I had been
having serious migraines for the past year. About 2-4 a
month that would completely lay me out for the day. The
first week I was on Xango I got 3 headaches which was not
fun, but then I didn't have one more headache after that for
over a year!! Even since then I rarely get them and when
I do, I'm still able to function. My mom also started on Xango
and she had terrible IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). She
was unable to eat most fruits, most dairy, salad and potatoes
just to name a few. She was initially scared to drink it
because it's main ingredient is made from a fruit called the
mangosteen. After a couple of months of drinking it she
decided to test it and see if it was helping. She had her first
tator tot in years and it didn't upset her stomach! Now,
she is able to eat all foods again! Let's just say she has a
stock pile of Xango in her pantry. She takes one ounce
before each meal and that's it. My husband is officially off of claritin now too which he took daily for his allergies. Another amazing thing about it is that the same week that
we as a nation had one of the worst financial crisis,
Xango had it's best week of business. I asked myself
how could that be? Then I realized it's because people
that know about the company, believe in it and it's
products(which up until Glimpse was only 2).
The new skin care line Glimpse had just been launched.
A pre-launch was held about 1 month before that. The
company had an estimation of what their projected sales
would be for glimpse and they beat it by 3 million (1.5 of which went right back to the ones who shared it, and get this
it was all without having any product (even samples) in
their hands when it was sold! Unbelievable. Let me just say,
if you know what Xango is and what it does, you would be
dying to try the skin care line too.
